Colek Pamor Waterfall In Buleleng, North Bali

The Colek Pamor Waterfall is a hidden spot in north Bali with a nice 15-meter waterfall.

It’s a good one to visit along with the more popular GitGit Waterfall, which actually comes from the same stream.

Some Bali canyoning tours include this waterfall, but aside from that, it’s still mostly unknown to tourists — even though it’s only a short drive from Lovina or Munduk.

Colek Pamor Waterfall – What To Expect

The hike to the waterfall takes about 15-30 minutes depending on your pace, and I’d rate it as easy. You don’t need a guide, although the path can be a bit confusing (more on that in a minute).

There’s a bit of elevation gain, but the first half of the path is paved, and it has two concrete bridge crossings that are in good shape.

Later on, the path turns to dirt and rocks, and you get to follow the stream through a nice jungle with a few banyan trees.

Near the end of the trail, you pass another big waterfall that’s below you, but it’s obscured by trees. That’s the GitGit Waterfall and you can reach it from a path nearby that connects the two waterfalls.

They both come from the same stream, and they’re both worth a visit if you have time! Colek Pamor isn’t as big as GitGit, but it looks a bit similar and it’s a popular spot for canyoning.

Trekking Directions

The path to the waterfall has two junctions that can be confusing. Pics below.

At the first junction (where there’s no sign), turn right and keep on the narrow path.
At the second junction (with three paths), go up the stairs. This one has a sign, but who knows how long it’ll be there.

Entrance Fee

FREE as of 2021.

There was no parking fee or entrance fee when we visited.

That may change over time if the place gets popular, as Bali waterfalls tend to do!

How To Get There

Colek Pamor waterfall is located in north Bali, in the Buleleng area.

It’s a 30 minute drive from Lovina, Singaraja, and Munduk, or about 2 hours from Ubud and the touristy areas in south Bali.

The best way to get there is to rent a scooter or hire a private car and driver (both of these can be booked online).

The parking lot for Colek Pamor is a small alley off the main road that’s accessible by car, but the entrance can be easy to miss.

Just follow the pin in the map below (there’s another pin on Google but it takes you to the wrong place). When you enter this alley, the waterfall path is directly on your right.
